The cargo area Remote Fold-Down Rear Seats transform the rear row along a 40-20-40 split that allows for a number of unique configurations, so you can adjust the space as required.     More cargo room on demand. The Adjustable Rear Sliding Seat glides effortlessly forward for more available space, and backwards for more passenger legroom. Each rear seat also reclines, so all passengers can ride in comfort.

    More room when you need it. The XT5 holds passengers comfortably, and cargo efficiently. The available Cargo Management System keeps your items secure, while generously sized pockets in the front and rear seating rows keep your belongings organized and private. With pass-through storage located under the center console, the things that you need most are always within reach.


  • 40-20-40 CARGO AREA REMOTE FOLD-DOWN REAR SEAT

    Rear seating or space, as required. The XT5 can seat five people, but when you need more cargo room, the rear row can fold down along a 40-20-40 split. Depending on the size of your cargo, you can arrange the sections three different ways and still accommodate rear passengers. For optimal flexibility, all three seats can be laid completely flat to create up to 1784.2 liters of cargo room.

    Elevated looks and handling. Every wheel option on the XT5 is equipped with all-season tires, offering you improved agility year-round. On the Premium Luxury and Platinum Collections, the 20 inch aluminium wheels come with bright, fully polished finishes and premium painted accents, so you can ride high and stand apart.

    Let the sun in. The available UltraView® Sunroof spans across both seating rows, giving every passenger a clear view of the sky. When the sun shines too brightly, a power sunshade blocks out light and helps keep the cabin cool.

    HANDS-FREE LIFTGATE

    Pop the trunk, effortlessly. The standard liftgate has an available hands-free feature that allows you to open and close the liftgate with a kicking motion under the left of the rear bumper when the Keyless Access fob is with you. The memory height function allows you to program how high the gate will open, avoiding damage to the vehicle going in or out of tighter spaces.

  • SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT

    See better without looking. Available Side Blind Zone Alert monitors your blind spots. If a vehicle is in your path before you change lanes, a light in the side mirror illuminates to alert you. Also, the system warns you when vehicles approach your blind spot at high speeds, helping you to avoid a possible collision.

  • LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING

    Stay on your track. Available Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning monitors the lines on the road, senses the lane boundaries and helps keep your vehicle centered, as well as alerting you of an inadvertent lane departure. If the car begins to drift into another lane and the lane signal is not activated, the system, working together with the Safety Alert Seat, will send a warning pulse through the seat cushion.

    Information in sight. The full-color available reconfigurable Head-Up Display (HUD) can project relevant information like speed, navigation or entertainment updates onto the windshield so you can stay updated without taking your eyes off the road.

  • SURROUND VISION

    An up-lifted point of view. When in Drive or Reverse, available Surround Vision provides a top view of your vehicle and the areas immediately surrounding it. This view, projected on the Cadillac user experience screen, gives you an overall perspective that can help you reduce blind spots and increase awareness.

    REAR CAMERA MIRROR

    See the world behind. With just the flick of a switch, you can stream the view from an available rear-mounted HD camera to the rear view mirror. This view offers a substantially increased vision over an ordinary mirror. A simple touch instantly reverts it back to a traditional mirror.

    ELECTRONIC PRECISION SHIFT

    Shifting done smoothly. The XT5 uses a shifter with Electronic Precision Shift technology, a joystick-like evolution of the traditional center console shifter. It allows you to go from Park to Drive in one quick motion, for a more dynamic driving experience.

    Effortlessly efficient. When driving conditions require less fuel, the Active Fuel Management System temporarily turns off two of the engine’s cylinders, optimizing fuel efficiency. When conditions become more challenging, the system reactivates them again, delivering the power you need. Finally, when the vehicle is stopped at idle, Auto Stop/Start Technology automatically turns off the engine to reduce fuel consumption.
